TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

The Broker — The Short Version

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be coming. That should round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The speed is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
