Tab Trade - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That would be a good addition once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
